This group is suitable for people interested in the classical repertoire.

Tuesday evenings – please contact the College for exact timings

The Flute Choir meets on Tuesdays and is for players from around Grade 5 – Grade 8+ standard. We play a variety of music – arrangements of folk tunes, film and show music and classical pieces. We also play contemporary music written for flute choirs. If you are a player around Grade 3 – 4 standard and interested, please contact the College and we will put your details on a list and if we get enough interest, we will start an additional group.

We perform regularly at college concerts and in the local area, recently at the Zero Carbon Headingley Street Fair and at Wheatfields Hospice.

We play music for all of the flute family and there are opportunities to play piccolo, alto and bass flutes if you don’t own those instruments.

You need to have your own ‘C’ flute.

Contact the college for further details – we look forward to welcoming you!

Monday evenings: Intermediate group 7pm – 8pm; Advanced group 8pm – 9pm

The Saxophone group classes are lead by Donal Donnelly. Please contact the College for further information.
