Lesson rates at the YCMD
Fees as follows:
30 minute lesson – £17.25
45 minute lesson – £25.88
1 hour lesson – £34.50
Saxophone group
£8.90 per hourly session to be paid per term
Violin group
£5.50 per hourly session to be paid for the term
Theory group
£5.50 per hourly session to be paid for the term
Flute choir
£5.50 per hourly session to be paid for the term
Hire of the exam piano
The exam piano is available for exam candidates to familiarise themselves with the piano before their exam at a rate of £10.00 per hour or £5.00 per half an hour. Please call the office to book a slot (this service is very popular so early booking is advised and availability cannot be guaranteed).

Hire a room for your own use here at the college
All our rooms at the YCMD are available to hire for you own private musical practise, group meetings, or for you to hold music lessons in. Discounts are given for block bookings – please enquire.
£8.50 per hour for a small room
£17.00 per hour for a large room
Special Offer available Monday to Friday from 11am – 3pm:
Pay for 4 hours room hire and get the 5th one free.
